Clutter Free Family Fun Idea #1 Take a Walk

If there is one thing I underestimated before we embraced the clutter free lifestyle, it was the benefit of spending time outdoors.  I truly believe we are all happier and healthier from being outside so much more these days.  When you live in a small space, it’s simply essential to go beyond your walls sometimes!

Going on a walk – whether that’s in the neighbourhood or on a hiking trail – might feel like drudgery at first (it was for me) but eventually everyone will look forward to it.  Enjoy exploring nature, feeling the sun on your face, chatting, and being active together.

Are you ready to take on the first Clutter Free Family fun idea?  Go on, get outside and take a walk now!

These activities have been inspired by our year-long trip around Australia where we have been living with only the “stuff” that will fit into our car and camper trailer.  The experience taught us how easy it is to live with less, and how a life with less “stuff” actually creates more room for enjoying time together.  We hope this series of posts inspires you to enjoy some clutter free fun with your own family.
